Under a Tree, In a Cathedral, With a Judge: through the veil of marrying others to marry myself
This is a dark romance memoir about self-deception spanning 40 years and two continents. Married, widowed, divorced. Mistress, married, escaped. Common-law partner forced out of home. Here are the things I did for love, some wise, some not. As a therapist I know self-love is the most difficult of tasks. From a youthful, tragic beginning to a quest for the transcendent sacred my inner compass led me home, but not before making me face my shadow. I was challenged to marry within myself the qualities of my projection onto men I loved.
A story of a bride to men who lived her way into becoming the beloved of her own life.
