What do you do when your dream comes true? Run for cover in the old self? Allow yourself to be swamped by fear? Or shore up your reserve with truth and face what is yours to learn? Self-knowledge isn’t a matter for the intellect. It is living experience in the process of getting to know your true self, which is the divine core within every individual. So when you say you want something — to be mother, lover, artist, world traveller, teacher, lady of leisure, whatever vision you hold — then you best be prepared to make the changes your dream will ask of you because the you asking will not be the you who makes it come true. You must change. And in that change will be your growth and development. It will surely cost you your attachment to victimization. Most of us expect that to make a life we love will be easy but it’s demanding when we are more married to the past unconsciously than we are present to the eternal moment now. Woman must stop laying the burden of her own unlived inner quest upon those she purports to love. When it is time for a transformation of who she has known herself to be, she will face her own insecurity, overcome it, and move beyond the limitations she has been imposing upon herself, unconsciously.

Question for Reflection:
What spirit breathes through me and demands my attention, creativity, and manifestation?
